Please note
    • Arrival & Departure : Flights must arrive in Puerto Maldonado before 1:00 PM and depart after 1:00 PM on the final day to coordinate lodge transfers.
    • Luggage Allowance : A max of 10 kg (22 lbs) per person is allowed for the boat transfer. We recommend packing light and storing excess luggage at the lodge’s office in Puerto Maldonado.
    • Weather : The Amazon is hot and humid year-round , with frequent rain showers, especially between November and March .
    • Wildlife Sightings : Animal encounters are common but not guaranteed, as wildlife moves freely in its natural habitat.
    • Physical Activity : Most excursions involve walking on uneven terrain and require a moderate fitness level.
    • Health & Safety : Bring insect repellent and sun protection. Yellow fever vaccination is not mandatory but recommended.
    • Electricity : Limited hours of electricity at the lodge; charging stations available in common areas.

    What to bring
      • Lightweight, breathable clothing (long sleeves and trousers recommended for insect protection)
