This lodge is located east of the Manu River on the north bank of the Madre de Dios River. It is reached by a 45- minute flight from Cusco to Puerto Maldonado followed by a car and boat journey to reach MWC and offers the Amazon’s finest short, in-depth wildlife safari. The lodge is famous for its abundant and varied wildlife, with its own Tapir clay lick, a nearby macaw clay lick, two nearby oxbow lakes and a tall canopy viewing towers among its impressive highlights.

      • Airport taxes.
      • Transfer assistance from the airport to your hotel in Cusco or Lima.
      • Extra services (Boat transportation) and extra nights at any of the lodges or alternative Hotel in case of flight cancellations.
      • Personal expenses and tips.
      Please note
        • Please note that you must travel one day before the tour and you will spend the night in a hotel in Puerto Maldonado.   
        • The service starts/ends in Puerto Maldonado.
        • Operates minimum 3 passengers.
        • Fixed departure on Mondays only.
        • On each booking please indicate the following information: Full personal details, Passengers name and date of birth, passport number and nationality, any special food restrictions (vegetarian, ovo-lacto-vegetarian, low salt or low sugar), medical or food allergies and any special medical requirements.
        • Please take note that it will be necessary to spend the previous night in the city of Puerto Maldonado to start our tour from 6:30 to 7:00 a.m.
        • Please note that the program may vary slightly so as to maximize your wildlife sightings, depending on the reports of our researchers and experienced naturalist guides based at the lodge.
        What to bring
          • Good binoculars.
          • Rain suit or long poncho (100 % waterproof).
          • Your passport.
          • Insect repellent Skin-so-soft on river/20% deet for forest.
          • A bright flashlight.
          • A bottle or canteen to carry water on outings.
          • Sunglasses.
          • A hat that will not come off in windy boat rides.
          • Camcorder or Digital Camera.
          • Rubber boots.
          • Personal toiletries and medications
          • Sunscreen lotion (high factor).
          • Bring some cash for souvenirs, alcoholic beverages and tips.
