      • Galapagos National Park Fees : Be prepared to pay the park entrance fee ($110 USD) and transit control card fee ($30 USD) upon arrival.
      • Flight Information : Ensure your flights to/from the Galapagos Islands are booked separately, as they are not included in the cruise package.
      • Travel Insurance : Strongly recommended to cover unexpected cancellations, medical emergencies, or trip disruptions.
      • Age Restrictions : If traveling with young children, the cruise allows children who are at least 6 years old.
      • Physical Fitness : Some excursions may involve moderate hiking, walking on uneven terrain, and snorkeling. A reasonable level of fitness is recommended.
      • Weather Considerations : The Galapagos has two main seasons, dry (June to December) and wet (January to May). Pack accordingly and bring sun protection.
      • Luggage Limitations : Domestic flights to the Galapagos often have weight restrictions (typically 44 lbs/20 kg for checked luggage and 17 lbs/8 kg for carry-on).
      • Eco-conscious Travel : Follow the guidelines provided by the crew to protect the fragile Galapagos ecosystem, including avoiding single-use plastics and maintaining a respectful distance from wildlife.
      • Wetsuits and Equipment : While snorkeling gear is provided, wetsuits are available for rent onboard. Bring your own if you prefer.
      • Seasickness : The waters around the Galapagos can sometimes be choppy. Consider bringing motion sickness medication if you're prone to seasickness.
      What to bring
        • Valid Passport : Required for travel to the Galapagos Islands.
        • Comfortable Clothing : Lightweight, breathable clothes for warm weather, including t-shirts, shorts, and light pants.
        • Sun Protection : High-SPF sunscreen, a wide-brimmed hat, sunglasses with UV protection, and a rash guard for snorkeling.
        • Sturdy Walking Shoes : Comfortable shoes with good grip for hiking on rocky terrain (waterproof shoes are a plus).
        • Swimwear : Several swimsuits for snorkeling and swimming activities.
        • Light Jacket or Sweater : Evenings can be cooler, so a light jacket or sweater is useful.
        • Waterproof Bag : For protecting electronics and valuables during wet landings and water activities.
        • Camera/GoPro : To capture the incredible wildlife and scenery, along with extra memory cards and waterproof cases if possible.
        • Binoculars : Great for birdwatching and spotting wildlife from the boat.
