      Machu Picchu has limited capacity. It is required to give the full name, identification document, nationality, date of birth at the time of the reservation. The access to Machu Picchu is taking turns. We are allowed to only remain 4 hours in the citadel. The paths are delimited. We will follow the high-long path. Not permitted: to climb the walls, rest on the steps or terraces, or use walking sticks and drones.

      The Hiram Bingham train is a round trip same day train service. It does not guarantee the return the following day, it is possible only if there are available seats. In this case, the return will be modified and switched to the service of the Vistadome train.

      If you wish to stay a night in the Machu Picchu area whether at the Sanctuary Lodge hotel, the only one located in front of the entrance to Machu Picchu or in any of the recommended hotels at the foot of the mountain such as: Inkaterra Machu Picchu Pueblo or Sumaq, Ask a tailor-made quotation.

      What to bring
        • Long sleeve shirt. The solar radiation is high at high altitudes. Protect your skin.
        • Sunscreen and sunglasses.
        • Cap or hat. You can also get them in the artisan markets and contribute to the local economy.
        • Warm clothing for the night, scarf, and comfortable shoes for walking. Trekking sneakers.
        • Raincoat, in the November to March season. Avoid purchasing single use raincoats.
