Our journey begins with a courtesy transfer from your hotel in the Sacred Valley to the Ollantaytambo railway station. From there, we embark on a scenic train ride to one of the New Seven Wonders of the World: Machu Picchu. Upon arrival at the Machu Picchu town railway station, our staff will be ready to assist us in boarding the bus that will take us up the winding road to the citadel. Along the way, we will be treated to breathtaking views of the Urubamba River and its deep canyon.

Once at Machu Picchu, the Lost City of the Incas will reveal its grandeur through its intricate terraces, ceremonial shrines, stairways, and urban zones. The mystical energy of this ancient site is truly captivating. As we explore its sacred grounds, we will uncover the history and significance of this architectural masterpiece.

At the scheduled time, we will begin our return journey, taking the train back to either Cusco or the Ollantaytambo railway station. This experience offers an unforgettable encounter with one of the world’s most iconic archaeological treasures, leaving us in awe of the ingenuity and legacy of the Inca civilization.


Train Services to Machu Picchu


Vistadome Observatory Train

This train offers an immersive journey to Machu Picchu with stunning panoramic views. Its spacious carriages feature large glass windows and an exclusive observatory car, allowing travelers to fully appreciate the breathtaking Andean landscapes. The experience includes onboard entertainment, such as live Peruvian music and dance performances, as well as a selection of snacks and coca leaf tea. With comfortable seating and a unique connection to nature, this train provides a memorable and scenic ride through the heart of the Sacred Valley.


Vistadome Train

Surrounded entirely by glass, the Vistadome train features large panoramic windows that offer breathtaking scenic views and endless opportunities for stunning photographs. Travelers feel immersed in the spectacular landscapes of Peru. The service includes snacks on both legs of the journey, a selection of tea or coca leaf tea, a Peruvian dance show, and an onboard alpaca shop. This train is a preferred choice among travelers.


The 360º Machu Picchu Train

A panoramic train designed exclusively for the route to Machu Picchu, featuring a unique observation car with a self-service bar. The train offers comfortable seats with cushions and foldable tables. Its panoramic windows—taller and wider than those of conventional trains—are present in all carriages, including the observation car.


Expedition Train

Travelers can sit back and relax in spacious cars surrounded by panoramic windows, allowing them to fully appreciate the beauty of the natural landscape. The journey to Machu Picchu begins the moment they board.


The Voyager Machu Picchu Train

A pleasant journey aboard an elegant carriage with comfortable seating. The Voyager service features panoramic windows, ensuring travelers can take in the stunning scenery throughout the trip.


Machu Picchu Visit Circuits

Our tour follows Circuit 2A or 2B (Upper Circuit), but availability depends on the booking date. For last-minute bookings (within two months of departure), Circuit 3B (The Royal Circuit) or Circuit 3A with a supplement (Huayna Picchu/Huchuy Picchu and The Royal Circuit) may be assigned if Circuit 2A-2B is sold out.     • Machu Picchu has implemented new visitor circuits, with three main routes with specific differences to distribute passengers in various areas. These changes are intended to improve the visitor experience and preserve the integrity of the archaeological site. The circuit with route 2 will be given as priority and if it is not available, the options of taking circuit 3B or circuit 1B will be informed so that you can confirm your decision before the tickets are issued.
    • All the traveller personal information details (Full name, passport number, daybirth, nationality) must have been provided correctly in the moment that the booking was made.
    • Transportation from Cusco hotels is not included. 
    • Time Train departure can be change depending of availability, for that reason the departure change 2 hours after, this change going to be indicated for one of our representative.
    • The guided tour lasts around 2.5 hours
    • Machupicchu Admission ticket, bus tickets and train tickets are included in this tour and will be sent via viator extranet.
    • In Cusco, our staff will be providing your train tickets and entrance to Machupicchu the same day of the excursion.
