Discover the Richness of Chachapoyas Culture within this half-day tour: Walk along the most traditional colonial houses with balconies; Stare at breathtaking views from amazing canyons and viewpoints; lastly, Learn about the pottery process at a tradition

Our half day tour begins near the town of Huancas, a community known for it´s pottery. The viewpoint in Huanca Urco Canyon will be our first stop. In shinny days, we can see with binoculars the first fall of Gocta waterfall and the Town of Dead People. Near the fisrt viewpoint, Chachapoyas has another deep canyon of Sonche River. From here, you can get a breathtaking view of the rugged geography of the Amazonian Andes. Then, we will go inside a traditional house to witness the pottery process, where we can participate and make our own ceramics. Our next stop is Luya Urco viewpoint, to get a panoramic view of the city of Chachapoyas. We will start our tour walking from Burgos square, across one of the main streets of the city, to Chachapoyas main square, where we will see traditional colonial houses with balconies, including the Municipal Palace and the Cathedral of Chachapoyas.
